The full meaning is National Youth Service Corps. 

It was founded by former military head of state in Nigeria, Gen Yakubu Gowon 22nd May, 1973.

How do I check my NYSC status?

Log into Senate/Academic Board list Portal and follow these four (4) steps:-

1. select your Institution.
2. write your Matriculation Number and Surname in the required columns.

What is NYSC mobilization?

To assemble eligible graduates of Nigeria Origin for National Service in a credible, honest and transparent way every given time. 

The purpose of the scheme is primarily to induce understanding in the Nigerian Youths the spirit of Selfless service to the community and to stress the need for unity across Nigeria.

How many times do NYSC mobilize in a year?

They mobilize graduates into three (3) batches. 

It was divided into two (2) streams per batch in 2017.

How can I get mobilized for NYSC?

log into the Registration Portal. 

Click on "Mobilization on the current batch available"

then click on Fresh Registration link, If you are actually registering for the first time. 

That revalidation link is only for those mobilized in 2019 Batch 'c' and past batches that did not go to orientation camp.

How to check NYSC exemption letter quickly?

printing your exemption letter is very simple. 

take these three (3) steps:

1. Just log into their official website at www. nysc. org. ng
2. enter your account using a login and password.
3. after you have logged into your account, then print your exemption Letter.

How much is NYSC registration?

If you want the call-up numbers sent through SMS and wish to print it on-line then expect to pay the sum of three thousand naira (N3000) or more because the price hike in Nigeria.

What do I need for NYSC registration?

follow this few steps for your registration:-

• log into the Online Portal.
• Give an Active Email Account.
• Secure your Account.
• Complete the fill of registration form.

What is the current NYSC allawee?

Presently, federal government pays all participant N33000 nationwide.

This is different from what most state government pays to each participant.

Participants primary place of assignment pays them as well depending on the sector or area where you are posted.

 

How to reduce age at NYSC without getting caught?

They have made a disclosure that it won't allow anybody above thirty (30) years to join it's program.

yes! so long as you are a citizen of Nigeria.

Redeployment or relocation are mostly granted on these four (4) :-

1. DG Directives
2. Security
3. Marriage
4. Health

log into the portal with your email and password; same as the ones you earlier used in registering on the portal.

select 'Relocation'. 

fill in your details correctly into the fields provided. 

exercise patience either by SMS or email on your application status. If the application is approved, you will be notified by SMS or email as well.






How to correct a name on the NYSC Senate list?

log into the portal and then "apply for change of name" link to be able to correct the following;

• Spelling Error.
• Rearrangement.

How to choose posting state during NYSC online registration ?

In the past, it's allowed participant to select four (4) states from the Six Geo-political Zone in Nigeria.

Presently, They automatically chooses where a participant will serve.

Their rule states that you are not allowed to serve in your State of Origin and state of institution of graduation for those who studied outside their state of Origin. 

Although there are six (6) Geo-political zones in Nigeria but you will only be posted to one state.

The zones in Nigeria are:

•     North Central Zone.
