What are the Transfer and Cancellation Policies by Cael Test Type in United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia?

Transfer and Cancellation Policies by Test Type

CAEL Online and at a Test Centre have different policies, so make sure to be aware of the test type you registered before and their specific guide lines

You can only transfer to the same test type that you are registered 

If you are currently registered for a test Centre but you would like to transfer to Online, then register for the Online first, and contact us at least two (2) business days before your test date to have it cancelled.



In order to accommodate test takers affected by COVID-19, Cael is temporarily allowing test takers to transfer their test sittings in their account, free of charge. 

Transfers can be done up until two (2) business days before the test sitting.

P S - In order to take Online you must meet all of the computer system and room requirements. 

You can check your computer system for compatibility using our system checker tool. 

However, after test registration you will be required to complete another mandatory system check inside your account before taking the test.



                      

Test (center) Registration Cancellation and Transfer by the taker 

Your registration for a Test Session is specific to the session's date, time and location specified. 

You may not cancel or transfer your registration for a Test Session except in accordance with this Policy.








Cancellation before Test (center) Session is Held

If you are unable to attend a Test Session for which you are registered, you may request a cancellation of the registration in your account.



If your cancellation request is received by Paragon at least nine (9) calendar days before the date of the Test Session, they will grant your cancellation request and provide you with a refund of fifty percent (50%) of the fee you paid. 

If your cancellation request is received less than nine (9) calendar days before the date of the Test Session, your cancellation request will be granted and you will not receive any refund of the fee that you paid.










Transfer before test (center) session is held




In order to accommodate Test-takers affected by COVID-19, we are temporarily allowing test takers to transfer their test sittings in their account, free of charge. 

Transfers can be done up until two (2) business days before the test sitting. 

Test registrations cannot be transferred to another person.



To transfer, you will need to sign into your CAEL account



Under the heading 'Upcoming test' click 'Actions' then 'Transfer to a different sitting'. 

You will then be able to transfer your test to a different date, time, or location.

Follow all prompted steps and click 'Place Order' to complete the transfer.



If you are unable to attend a Test Session then you may transfer to another in your CAEL account for the same type of Test to which the original Test Session applied.

If your transfer request is received at least nine (9) calendar days before the date of the Test Session and your transfer request will be granted, then you will be required to pay a transfer fee of $50.00 plus applicable taxes.




If your transfer request is received at less than nine (9) calendar days before the date of the Test Session contact the organizer's customer service. 

Test organizers may require that you support your transfer request with appropriate documentation (e.g. doctor's note or evidence of bereavement) confirming the reason for the transfer request in form and content satisfactory to Paragon.



Test organizers will determine whether to grant or refuse your request for the transfer of a Session registration.

Test (center) Session Cancellation and invalidation by CAEL organizers

• Cancellation before Test Session is Held

Test organizers may cancel any Test Session before the session is held. 

If you are registered for a Test that is cancelled by organizers, they will attempt to give you prior notice of the cancellation (sent to you by email to the email address that you provided during your registration for the Session).

Upon request, Test organizers will either refund the fee that you paid to register for the Session or apply the fee to your registration for another.

• Invalidation after Test Session is Held

Test organizers may invalidate any Test Session or any or all related Test scores at any time after the session is held. 

If organizers invalidates a Session that you attended or your score, they will either refund the money that you paid to register for the Test or apply the fee to your registration for another.

• Cancellation and Invalidation for Mis-conduct

Test organizers can cancel your registration for a Session or invalidate your score if you engage in any form of misconduct including breaching the applicable Service Terms, attempting to cheat or failing to comply with procedures or instructions.

In those circumstances, you will not be entitled to receive any refund of the fee that you paid to register for the Session and you will not be entitled to apply that fee to another.

• Order Cancellation - Test Centre

You may contact Test organizers customer care to request cancellation of an order for products or services for any reason in accordance with mandatory order cancellation rights required by applicable consumer protection laws.

Your order cancellation request will not be effective unless and until the request is received and processed by Test organizers customer service personnel.

Test organizers may refuse to accept any order for Products or Services that you submit, and may cancel at any time your previously accepted order.

P S - There are no refunds or exchanges on any purchased study materials or products.







Test Centre Retake Policy 

You can register for not more than one Session within four (4) calendar days. 

Test registrations that violate this rule are subject to cancellation by Test organizers.



The Test organizers recommends that you do additional studying before re-taking the test.

(Online) Test Registration Cancellation & Transfer

Your registration for a Test is specific to the session's date, time and location specified in the registration. 

You may not cancel or transfer your registration for a Test Session except in accordance with this Policy.

• Cancellation before Test Session is Held

If you are unable to attend a Test for which you are registered, you may request a cancellation of the registration in your account.





If your cancellation request is received by Test organizers at least (48) hours before the date of the Session, they will grant your cancellation request and provide you with a refund of fifty percent (50%) of the fee you paid for. 

If your cancellation request is received by Test organizers less than (48) hours before the date of the Session, they will grant your cancellation request and you will not receive any refund of the money that you paid for.
